The Covington Fraternal Order of Eagles 3998 hosted the fifth annual Covington Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at our 87.5 acre farm at 4805 N. Rangeline Rd. east of the scenic Greenville Falls and west of town.
The invitational consisted of 13 schools, including the home Buccaneers of Covington, and races at the high school and junior high level.
The Covington Fraternal Order of Eagles would like to congratulate all of the individual and team winners – including our own Paige Boehringer, who is a senior at Covington High School, and Mic Barhorst, who is eight grader at Covington Middle School.
Paige won the high school race for the girls in a time of 20:29.0, while Mic won the boy’s junior high race with a time of 11:23.3.
Also, congratulations to Taylor Roth, a seventh grader at Covington Middle School, who finished runner up in the girl’s junior high race.
In the team standings, the high school girls finished 4th, the high school boys finished 5th, the junior high boys took second and the junior high girls placed third.
